Mighty Sailor Band General Meeting

 

The initial End of the Year Banquet Meeting has been changed to Tuesday, January 24th, at 6:30 at the AmercInn (Fruitville & Cattlemen).
 

Next MSB General Meeting:  FEBRUARY 13, 2012 
7:00pm in the Band Room.  **

** Mandatory parent and student DC trip meeting following the February general meeting. Paperwork will be distributed at this time, and a notary will be available. 

Washington, D.C. Trip Update:


Sarasota High School Instrumental music was INVITED by the National Association for Music Education (formerly Music Educators National Convention) to represent the state of Florida in its annual MUSIC EDUCATION WEEK. Music Education Week is an event designed to raise awareness to lawmakers about the importance of music in the public schools and to learn from America's greatest musicians.

On December 13th an informational meeting was held with parents.  A PowerPoint Presentation was shown to those that were present.  If you missed the meeting or would like to view the presentation again, click on the following link:
