TO ALL BAND PARENTS:

If your child plans on being in the Marching Band, we need your help, please measure them for the new uniform pants we will be ordering. We need 3 measurements: waist, hips and inseam. Please email the measurements along with the students first and last name ASAP. We want to order them and get them back before band camp.

SIMPLE MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS:

Waist: While standing relaxed, measure around your waist where the trousers are worn: generally this is the smallest part of the waist. Pull the tape snug. (snug means that the tape is tight, but yet loose enough to slide your hand under the tape.)

Hips: While standing relaxed with your feet together, measure around the fullest part of their hips (seat), (this is easiest to see if you are looking at them from the side) keeping the tape parallel to the floor and snug, remove wallets and cell phones from their pockets prior to taking the measurement.

Inseam: Measure the inside seam from the crotch to the bottom of the trouser leg. A good technique is to measure a pair of well fitting trousers while laying them on a flat surface.
